It can take some time to research and apply for scholarships so it is recommended that you start early. As part of the process of applying for scholarships, Westlake Boys High School must endorse your application. You must fill out the Scholarship Intention Form so we are aware of your applications and are able to support them with the required documents and references. You can fill in the 2021 intention form – please make sure you have done your research on the scholarships you intend to apply for before you fill it in.
The first place to start is looking at the Scholarships page of the University/institution that you wish to study at. If you are planning to apply for Auckland University scholarships you can find more information here: scholarships-for-school-leaver-first-year-students-2022

Please note: You will need to ensure that you meet the criteria of any scholarship you wish to apply for. Scholarship applications are based on your Year 12 rank score. The NCEA rank score is calculated on the 80 best credits in university approved subjects from your Year 12 results at Level 2 or higher (if you sat any Level 3 during Year 12 you can include those credits). You can calculate this here.
